Hotel Calimala Firenze was probably one of the best hotels nested in the heart of Florence. My family of four was traveling Italy for 11 days during last Christmas holiday. We chose to stay at Hotel Calimala from 12:25-12/27. If you have a chance to stay at this property, please choose it without any hesitation. We reserved 2 bedrooms next to each other ( one room occupied by my 13 and 15 yr old sons). We stayed at a deluxe bedroom and everything was perfect. Welcome gifts and bottled water were served daily. We also had great amenities offered in both bedrooms. Breakfast was great and plentiful. House keeping was provided daily. Hotel staffs were very professional and courteous. Also everything is in walking distance. Uffizzi Museum was only 3 minutes away, shopping centers and restaurants were just minutes away, and even Duomo was only 4 minutes away. We plan to return to this property again in near future when visiting Italy.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this hotel is amazing. The service from the staff was top notch. The decor and aesthetic is incredible. The rooms were beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was great too. The location here is perfect and within walking distance to many attractions with endless dining options and shopping. 10/10 recommend.

The location and service were amazing. We had a problem the first night with a room that smelled like sewage. They had no other room with 2 beds available although they offered us a room with a bed and sofa. The next night we were moved to a new room and given a free breakfast. I would stay here again in the "old" building, since the "new" building had the smell issue.

The Hotel Calimala is certainly a "boutique hotel"! My wife was in awe with the room and the view of Florence. The hotel is located in the perfect walking location to everything you will want to see in Florence and is filled with the most helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay, our room, and the kindness and helpfulness of all of the Hotel Calimala personnel!! Clean, Safe, walking distance to so many of the sights, just around the corner from the multitude of shops. Perfect!!
