"We came for the natural swimming pool and hot tub and it did not disappoint! The hosts Brendan and Edwina were just amazing and welcoming. "3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again."

"Super happy with our stay at the village green! The house was beautifully set up and perfect for our group. We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. "Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty...

"We really liked our stay here. Loved this feeling of history around us. Helpful and friendly staff. Only thing that disappointed was the pics show a pool which on our 37degree day would have been perfect but the pool was only available to some of the guests in different parts of the accomodation. Apart from that everything was perfect and would definitely use this as a base while visiting the area again. "
