"We booked a room, showed up before checkin time and they were not operating yet for the season. Mistakes happen, so we weren’t too upset as we found a nearby room at Hotel Portobello . The groundskeeper told us to get a refund thru Expedia. Expedia contacted the hotel, the hotel denied our refund. ..."

The place was clean and the location was close to the center of town.
"Good place to stay however when I asked for fresh towel was told that in Italy they change towels weekly. The owner was responsive when we asked for an iron. They had snacks, water and juices for us upton arrival."
