"Hotel was 'tired'. Desk not staffed after hours and only access was via a rear door left unlocked on a 'snip' that other guests closed on one occasion, locking me out! The intercom to reach the out of hours porter was behind a half closed shutter which I had to crawl under to reach the intercom. Even then, the staff answered but didn't come to open the door.
