"The property is a little far from everything but their transportation was excellent. We were relieved after a long day of travel to be picked up at the Lavanto Train Station. It was late so we opted to have dinner at the restaurant there. The food was fabulous just like the service. The wait staff were excellent probably the best that we encountered this trip. The room was big and comfortable with tile flooring. It was loud with moving chairs above us at times but other than that it was quiet. We had a patio off the sliding glass doors which was a plus. The air conditioner worked great. The bathrooms were a good size and had all of the amenities that we needed. The breakfast was incredible. It had everything we wanted and then some. Again the wait staff was excellent there too. We took the transportation downtown and hiked to Monterosso. We made it to Monterosso but it was pouring rain. We were tired and soaking wet when we arrived back to the hotel. We put on our robes and dragged ourselves went to the free spa. So nice! It’s great having a hotel with transportation service. We didn’t have to shlep our bags up a ton of stairs like most Airbnbs in Italy. The spa was relaxing, the food was great, and kudos to the staff. The front desk was so helpful and excellent, the wait staff at breakfast were great, and the restaurant staff were incredible. We moved to different hotel closer to Portofino and we noticed the difference. Thank you Park Hotel Argento for a wonderful stay. "

"The receptionist was wonderful. She contacted me the day before we were to arrive to let us know we were expected. We scheduled a time to meet in the lobby. When our travel plans changed and we got there 2 hours earlier, she went out of her way to be there for us. She let us leave our luggage win her office so we could go tour. She let me know when our rooms were ready and she put our bags in our rooms. She was great!"
