"We had a terrific time at royalton hideaway. We stayed for 6 nights. I really do t understand the low ratings I read before arriving. Most of them seemed pretty petty. The staff was ver helpful, we stayed hideaway diamond club. The Butler service was very helpful, the pool bar tenders at the hideaway were excellent. Good gym. Many food options and yes you need reservations for the restraints at dinner time. -h"

"Such a wonderful place to stay. All the staff were so friendly, nothing was to much trouble. We didnt want to drive, but getting anywhere wasnt a problem as, reception will just order you a taxi. They literally take you wherever you want to go. And act like your personal tour guide. Cant say enough good things"

"This hotel is truly fabulous! It’s one of the prettiest complexes I’ve ever seen. The views are stunning, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The open-air design is interesting, with a refreshing breeze, beautiful views, and a nature vibe. However, we had a problem with mosquitoes for the first two nights. We figured out how to manage them, but it would be great if there was an option to close the windows more to reduce the mosquito population. The food options are decent, but the prices are a bit high for the quality. There are better lunch and dinner options nearby, like the Mango Tree restaurant. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful."

"This was an excellent trip. First, I would like to mention that our housekeeper, Carmella, would leave us nice little notes every day, and would grant our request for extra needs in our room. The room was always clean, and we had no problems. Every day, when we would get back to our room, it looked like the first day we arrived. That was much appreciated. There were 2 very special people in Guest Services - Tara and Gaielle - who were very nice, courteous and helpful during our stay. The Nexus excursion staff were great as well. I also received a massage at the spa from Kenya, and she was really good. I left there feeling refreshed and re-energized. We went on an 8-hour excursion along the western coastline, and made stops at the waterfall, the sulfur mud baths, lunch, and then, snorkeling. My daughter and some of the members of our family also did the jet ski excursion. They really enjoyed themselves. The food was decent but was really good at the buffet on New Years Eve, where they served lobster, crab, oxtails, seafood, and plenty of desserts. Also, a shout out to Clint Westwood - our chef at Zen restaurant. Not only was he very entertaining and included the whole family (17 of us) in his "show," but the food he prepared was the best on the resort. Lastly, I would like to say that the New Years Eve celebration was really nice! It was the perfect way to bring in the new year. We have considered making this a yearly trip."

"Beautiful, unique experience staying here with an open fourth wall - felt like you were constantly outside in the best way possible. Breeze was strong enough w/ fans during the winter to be comfortable. View and pool off the room were unparalleled. Best service & everyone had a smile on their face - Caroline as the concierge, Jeremie at the Rum Bar, and V for the best room service. Will be back!"
