"This property has amazing views and an amazing experience. Close to a lot of small towns to visit. Less than and hour away from Lucca. This property is a true gem and the owners are fantastic. Do not miss out on their pizza night. "

We never tired of the wonderful views from the house, the birdsong, the scents pf wild flowers and the ambience of the ancient village. The 15 minute drive down a steep & winding road may challenge a less experienced driver. We loved the local markets and the thermal baths in Bagni di Lucca and walking in the mountains....

"Nestled on a hillside overlooking a small village sits a real Tuscan treat. Apart from the narrow winding road, this house is in a perfect location. Everything has been thoughtfully prepared, including a welcome basket of food and wine. The gardens and pool are fabulous. The only downfall is the bed, which is a little uncomfortable. "The property for our needs was a little too isolated, a car is a necessity and you need to Make sure you have all groceries etc with you to avoid the dive down the very steep mountain . The accommodation is very rustic and unfortunately extremely hot making sleeping very uncomfortable, no fans or air conditioning. Keeping the windows open was not an option as there were so many hornets about at the time of our visit . However the beautiful outdoor pool and Garden area are amazing and my grandson...

"Fee for hotel included entrance to wellness facility next door. It was first class including lockers and showers, steam room, very nice hot tub, and 2 indoor pools, as well as outdoor pool. Don’t forget to bring bath towel from room as they don’t provide towels. Unfortunately, the hotel was under renovation and restaurant was closed. They were still able to provide very good buffet breakfast."
