"Overall the accomodation was ok, nothing amazing but comfy enough, it does need some attention however. The major downside was the 'spa' facilities and the communication from the very rude staff members. The sauna and gym were closed due to Covid-19, this is understandable but there was no mention of this online, and I tried calling beforehand to ask but no one answered. Then the 'hot tub' was in fact freezing cold, and all the staff could say was "That's how it's always been, it's never been...

"The property was in a quiet location but had lovely views of the canal & attached swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped but a kettle would have been useful for making cups of tea. The facilities were good but the balcony got very hot even at breakfast time so a parasol or some sort of shade would have been great."

"The apartment had a horrid musky damp smell, that permitted throughout the stay. Half the lights and plugs didn't work. There is no air con, and the ceiling fan is weak making the apartment sauna like conditions and extremely uncomfortable. The wardrobes, cupboards and draws were not clean and covered in dust, and needing to be cleaned before unpacking suitcases. No sunbeds around the pool, leaving towels and feet covered in dirt from the grass, and being transferred in to the pool / apartments....

Para empezar el dueño de la casa nos la enseño muy deprisa y nervioso, una vez se fue empezamos a ver que la casa estaba en unas condiciones de higiene deplorables. "Wonderful property that's close to old town site seeing but not loud that can happen if you're in the middle of everything. Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. The location also can make it a bit difficult to walk bach to hotel as other reviews have noted. It's not that bad and if needed you can stop to catch your breath on one of the walls. It is a very short walk to the shops and restaurants down in the old town area. Everything was well cared for and clean. They have an online restaurant and bar so you don't need to head down again if you want to stay there in the evening. Area seems safe and is residential so no need to worry about being out late at night. Highly recommend this modern friendly hotel!"
