"Lovely very clean hotel, well decorated throughout and lovely and warm. Staff nice, breakfast mostly good. Only few snags, pillows were awful need to invest in new decent ones! Also mattress not that comfy, but only my opinion may suit others. Porridge at breakfast not great, no taste of whiskey ..."

"Lovely big bedroom. Old fashioned, traditional and quirky, but good. Room clean and tidy. Bathroom very well decorated with huge bath and seperate walkin shower. Hotel could be drafty in places, so open fires were nice. Breakfast was great."
