"The one big down fall for this apartment was no Wi-Fi. It also did not mention this in the description, if it had I would not of booked to stay there. I feel in this day and age Wi-Fi is essential with people travelling and keeping in touch, work commitments. When I checked with reception I was told this apartment is privately owned. Although clean and well equipped it needs a refresh of paint as looking rather worn out."

Access via badly laid limstone blocks as steps , then across a gravel patch and step up onto Verandah by wobbly wooden box used as a step and no handrails. Verandah had no safety rail around edge . Because we couldn't access the room safely , we cancelled and Stayz gave us a refund. Until improvements are made , would not reccomend.. It proved difficult to find alternate...

The property was spacious and well appointed, also not difficult to find with GPS etc. For the initial arrival you are well advised to arrive in the daytime as the roads in the region are unlit. "This property is so quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here. The smell is so reminiscent of my grandmother’s house which is so nostalgic and sweet. The room was lovely with daily housekeeping. We also enjoyed the spa bath. Such a great modern addition to an antique looking home. What made me love this place even more is their staff. They’re such lovely people. I appreciate their kindness, especially when I reported the two wine glasses we accidentally broke. I offered to pay them but they refused and warmly assured us. I couldn’t thank them enough. I can’t wait to be back here again. 💖"

"We had a lovely time at Higgins Lane for 4nights in November. Firstly it is a great location,within walking distance to restaurants,pubs and shopping. Secondly the staff is very accommodating and very friendly. There were a couple of things needing replacing in the room and it was seen to quickly with no issues. Thirdly the room itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfy ,bathroom very clean and having the use of kitchenette facilities made our stay very enjoyable. Booking an accommodation site unseen from Canada can be nerve wracking but we had no worries and would recommend this motel without hesitation. Also the Wifi was excellent too. "
