"This place is dump. It's a run down motel in a very rough part of town. Ther place was dirty, the floor felt spongey and it smelled like mildew. The bathroom was dirty and falling apart. I was afraid my car would be broken into and we definitely saw prostitutes walking around nearby. We decided to eat the money and didn't even stay here. We found a much nicer hotel about 10 minutes away. I would avoid this place at all costs. I'm shocked anyone would ever choose to stay here."

"We were there to avoid hurricane Helene, so that was the focus. We just needed a safe bed and we felt secure. But the microwave and fridge were both broken, the sink drain was clogged and drained very slowly. The floor had lots of chipped areas that could trip you. There was no sugar for the coffee in the office in the morning, and no one at the desk to ask. Just a sign saying they would be back soon, but we had to go. We felt we got what we paid for. Very inexpensive and pet friendly. Literally...

"I didn't like that fact that Expedia gave me one total price of $60.00 and when I started to check-in I was told that they couldn't honor that price but the total would be $70.54. The next thing I had requested a first floor room because my wife is handicapped and the room we were offered was on the second floor. This all was not acceptable so we cancelled the transaction and left the facility."

"The only thing I was a little disappointed in was that they still advertise having a Seasonal Pool. When I said to them don't you normally open it on Memorial Day weekend? The answer I got was no they had decided to close it permanently. "My family and I were very pleased with the lovely home and the room on the main floor was perfect for my dad. Having access to the lake all day made for many memories.
