"This is the first time we’ve stayed here and will definitely go back . Great value with a lovely relaxed atmosphere . The room was beautifully clean with several touches that took it up to another level ( well done to the staff ) my husband was extremely impressed with the fire precautions. His words ( the best he’s ever seen ) he’s now retired but his job was a fire prevention officer with the fire brigade. So great praise to the owners for the safety of the building staff & customers..we will be back "

"This is a lovely hotel and one which seems to take excellent customer service seriously. The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was very good too, bur the show-stopper is the staff who are, without exception helpful, polite and willing to go the extra mile. The hotel is beautiful and the historic rooms in the building have been sensitively decorated to a very high standard."
