"Nothing had been organised for our stay. Very unprofessional manager,Really bad damp and musty smell.Beds were wet, windows leaked during night. No coffee machine working, no wine glasses. Lamps in bedrooms crackled, fire hazard... the list goes on.. there is no entertaining space other than kitchen for 8 ppl thats crazy.."

This property was very close to an incredible beach, when i say close i mean less than 5 min walk with young ones at heel. They came and changed the sheets and kept things clean, the icky thing i missed that we usually see is someone cleaning the pool, but the tools where handily they're and the kids loved to do it. We will most likely come back! Definitely recommended"

"Our 3rd stay which says it all really. Lovely villa in peaceful location without being remote. Pity abouf the weather for this trip but the games room came in very handy. Well equipped with quality items. Not the normal rental basic equipment. Hope to repeat next year ! "

"My wife and enjoyed our stay in cabanas, the resort was bigger than we expected and definitely more family oriented, but still very enjoyable for us. The flat was very lovely, had what we needed and a nice covered patio. The local grocery store was a 5 min walk and well stocked. Day trips to Tavira were not expensive but you can’t walk from Cabanas to Tavira, it’s bus or taxi. "Overall I was satisfied with the house , place was well furnished , location was great and plenty of restaurants nearby ( I’d say Dunas was my favourite). My only gripe was the extra slim beds ( all four the same)…I’m 5’ 11” ( 180 lbs) and couldn’t feel comfortable sleeping in those beds. It’s time to get at least a queen size bed to attain a perfect score."

"We came on holiday September 2024 as a family of 9 guests. When booking the Villa we thought the pictures and write up looked great for our needs. But the Villa was even more impressive than the photos could portray. Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms well spaced out across the Villa and lots of social areas, so we never felt cramped. The games room was a bonus and even with 9 of us in there did not feel cramped. The outside area was beautiful with flowers, grass areas. The swimming pool...

"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"We had a Ria view room with lovely views, especially as the weather was good. We liked the fact that the hotel is very tranquil at this time of year. Although the rooms are not spacious it was a very comfortable large bed, bottled water and fridge in the room. The food was of a very good standard and a reasonable range of options. Staff all professional and friendly.Hoping to return next year."

"Staying in the deluxe room with the jacuzzi on the patio was a must. It’s a short walk to town although the restaurant food quality was a bit disappointing and restaurants were empty due to the season. We didn’t dine at hotel. However we capped off each night with a drink in the hotel’s fabulous rooftop bar. The hotel was almost empty so it was surprising we had to wait for our room( we arrived early) but they kept saying not ready when when we finally came back at the specified check in time there was a lineup and then we had to wait even longer. However the gentleman at check in was helpful when we were trying to get a package delivered. "

"What a beautiful hotel! Impeccably renovated from a former palace. The rooms are the perfect combination of modern and historic. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They also provide one the best breakfast buffets that I have experienced. The location is right off the main plaza with many small shops and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay here again!"
