"This was one of the cleanest short term rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Inside and out, the place was very clean. The owners provide several games and activities, including a game table and bumper pool, that the kids loved. It has a great view and backyard access to the Cullasaja River. It is located halfway between Franklin and Highlands, and is within just a few miles of multiple, easy-access waterfalls. "

Jeannie was great to work with and very responsive when needed. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great and there were plenty of big fluffy towels. We hated when it was time for us to leave and can’t wait until we get to come stay again!!"

"The view is absolutely spectacular. I’ve never seen a view like it. Rooms are enormous, the pictures don’t even do the house justice. We took the kids snow tubing and hiking and had such an amazing time. We loved the game room, and house was super well stocked with more than you need. Awesome way to ring in the new year. We hope to stay here again! "

"Such a cozy cabin for our annual post-Christmas mountain trip. We loved the view, the hot tub and the wood burning stove. The property was equipped with all that we needed. Closer to so many great hiking spots. We dodged the raindrops, found some amazing waterfalls and visited the town of Cherokee during our long-weekend stay. Highly recommend this cabin."

"The cabin was beautiful and view was amazing, but that driveway is yikes! Very steep and curvy even with four wheel drive it’s bad. Unless you have a lot of experience with very steep unpaved roads don’t recommend trying it."

"We'd read a mix of reviews on this property. However, our experience was that the negative reviews have no merit. This was a great place to stay in the Franklin area and everything about this stay was excellent. The only caution I would offer is to be careful turning into the road that leads up to the hotel as it is at the crest of a hill. The staff at this hotel made us feel very welcome and there were a number of excellent perks at no cost. The breakfast was generous and among the best I've ever seen at a free breakfast hotel. They also had grab and go bags for breakfast on the run. All of this was at no cost. We will definitely stay at this location again."

"Everything we as described. Countertops and more lighting is about the only downside. We enjoyed the playroom with all the games. It was a quick weekend with my son graduating so didn't stay long. "

Sunsets in the Smokies. Secluded but not remote. 10 minutes north of Franklin.

Be careful with the drive up! Stunning place, however!

"The view is just as described-absolutely beautiful. It is very serene and you feel like you're alone up on the mountain. The hot tub was a great place to end our evenings. The drive is just as others described...treacherous. I wouldn't try it without 4-wheel drive. Communication with host was great! If you are a larger person, you may not be able to get up the winding stairwell to go to the upstairs loft - FYI!"
