"This is a great self catering apartment. Its 5 minutes walk from the main street in Franschhoek, set in a quiet residential area. Our host, Brian, had taken the trouble to recommend a local restaurant and even booked us a table where we could enjoy the magnificent sunset overlooking the valley. He has also done some enviable research into the local vineyards, restaurants, etc, and left his personal guide in our apartment for us to look through. "We returned to The Clermot again this year and stayed in the same room. We love the peacefulness and the view from the room is stunning. Breakfast seemed a tad disorganised this time (one day no bowls, another no jams, then no napkins) Our room.had a patch on the ceiling that had been repaired but not painted, the large lamp.didnt work( maybe bulb needs replacing) & one of the curtains had a water.stain.
