This hotel was exceptional with staff who went above & beyond. The hotel is within walking distance of main street with lots of options for eating, drinking, shopping & entertainment. The pool is beautiful & quiet which provides a relaxing evening in or by the pool sipping some of their delicious wine.

This property is 1 block of Main Street. There are plenty of restaurants near by and plenty of shopping. The property was so very quiet. There was plenty of room in a queen 2 bedroom for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. If the weather is decent, sit outside. We saw several deer. The pool and hot tub were pleasant and enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again.

The location of the property is excellent - so close to the Main Street (shops, restaurants, coffee, bars...), and HEB is close, too, just in the opposite direction. The only thing is the whole property needs a major update. I don't mind the old fashioned bathroom and bedding, but the carpets are the real issue for me. It is the reason the whole place looks dirty since the carpet runs through the inn.

The bed was hard and the pillows flat. The AC was difficult to find the sweet spot. Too hot or too cold. The toilet seat was loose. Not sure how housekeeping didn’t notice when they cleaned the room. My wife almost slid off the toilet from how loose it was. Luckily I had a Gerber tool and tightened the seat down. The ceiling fan was coming apart at the ceiling. Reported that to the front desk when I left. Other than that, it was clean and quiet and walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg.

There were live roaches and a couple of dead ones in the room. I did not complain because the girls at the front desk were not the friendliest. David was very helpful when I called the morning of my arrival though!
