2H Rock Haus
3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"I spent Christmas weekend here with my mother and it was our best Christmas in quite some time. We had all the comforts of home but we were in a beautiful setting in the countryside. In the mornings, my mother loved looking out the window at the deer in the woods. The beds were very comfortable "nests" and the kitchen was well stocked - the owners even had fresh milk in the refrigerator! On Christmas morning, Mike (I think that was his name) came by with homemade banana bread for us. We...

"Wonderful experience staying at The Barn. Clean, comfortable, private, quiet. Water pressure went to zero the first night we stayed but the owners had someone there ASAP. It took them a while to fix it but the worked their tails off in high temps and were very friendly. They got it working snd no problems after that. We absolutely loved the place and will return again and again!!! I would recommend this place to anyone esoecially a couple. My wife and I were there to celebrate our 2 May...

Alamo Springs- The Country Cabin
3.0 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (3)
"The cabin was generally awesome. Really the only 2 problems we faced were noisy neighbors and some fruit flies. We went out and bought some of the traps and it got a lot better. Bugs are also part of being out in the country so it wasn't too unexpected. The bed was super comfy and I loved the bath. The place was just like the pictures showed. We also were able to enjoy the fireplace since it cooled off and sat out on the porch drinking coffee on the rocking chairs."

"I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed, including fresh baked biscuits, cinnamon rolls and a frittata in the fridge, and candy, s'mores ingredients etc. My kids loved the goodies in the cabin,...
