"everything was good landscaping could have been cleaned up and mowed and there was a very noticeable smell in bathroom and parts of the house that smelled like sewer or drainage problems. But other than that it was very comfortable with a nice kitchen with all kind of cookware the bed were comfortable and the shuffle board table was really enjoyable would highly recommend this place "

" The hosts were wonderful, so considerate. Fresh eggs, butter, milk, cereal, muffins & fresh fruit were awaiting us. Being able to wander this property was a dream! The hiking trails are challenging but so worth the gorgeous autumn views. Paddle boarding on the lake was fun. They left enough firewood for us to have the fire in the log cabin going for both our nights. This place gives private camp vibes with the three spread out properties. AMAZING!! "The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that."

"We loved our stay at this little cabin. It was so peaceful! This is the perfect place for a couple seeking a break from their hectic lives. The cabin had everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Salt Fork Park area. "

"We looked for a reasonable hotel on our way to Maine. The reviews on ALL the sites scared me! This hotel had pretty good, recent reviews so I decided to chance it. You just never know…. Walked into a very nice room. The floors are not carpet which I like because it’s easier to keep clean. Bathroom was clean too. No dust on anything - lights, dressers, etc. I always pull the sheets down to check and they were good. Something’s I will put a note at the end of the bed for the next guest or housekeeping to say “if you find this note, you are doing an excellent job” and “if you are a guest and find this note” these sheets have not been changed”. I think if you have read this far, go ahead and book a room. You should be very satisfied. PS - there isn’t any breakfast but that doesn’t bother us. It just gave me more time to sleep in! "
