"The apartment was a wonderful base for the two days I was in the area. About an hour north of Hamburg. Very close to the A7 highway, so easy to access by car. It was quiet, clean and absolutely lovely."

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt im "Waterkrog" sehr genossen! Das Haus ist top ausgestattet, sauber und vor allem total gemütlich. In jeder Ecke gibt es etwas zu entdecken, sei es passende Dekorationen oder Informationen über die Geschichte des Hauses. Die Lage ist super, sowohl mit dem Fahrrad als auch zu Fuß ist alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Obwohl an einer recht viel befahrenen Straße gelegen, hat man im Haus kaum etwas davon gehört. Apartment room

"The room was on the next street in apartment block. No elevator and I was on the (top) 3rd floor. No carpets anywhere so very noisy when opening/ closing doors etc. room had a fan which was needed but no air con. No kettle or coffee machine. Clean/ new but too sparse for my liking. I was unable to book the ‘ nicer’ rooms at the actual hotel. A nice hotel overall but staying in apartment wasn’t to my personal liking. Sorry! "

"There was a Golden Anniversary party the night we were scheduled to stay and the hostess noted music might go until 3 am. They found us a beautiful substitute location that my wife and I utterly enjoyed - and a very, very quiet night! I so appreciated the effort to find us great night of sleep."
