The house was clean and comfortable for the four of us and we enjoyed being able to easily access the Food Lion for essentials and Buxton Seafood (great place to buy seafood, steaks and ciabatta bread). "It’s a great property but needs some upgrades. Walking around barefoot in my room and my feet were so dirty! Obviously no one cleans the floors. And the dishwasher leaves the dishes wet and they get put away wet and we’re moldy. I will definitely stay here again but now I know what to expect. "

"The cabin is a bit small for four people, but just right for two. The furnishings are worn but comfortable. We had trouble accessing wi-fi at first, but an agent came right over and fixed it. Lots of construction noise in the area, bit that will soon go away. My only criticism is that the den has no lighting, and there aren’t enough electrical outlets."

"Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was wonderful. Right on the beach and a short drive to restaurants/shops/ferry/etc. in Hatteras. The property itself was nice and updated. Loved that it was also pet-friendly. I just wish we could have gotten in earlier, as it was almost 6:00pm before we could finally get in. We would stay here again."

"This location is exactly as it is described. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking and it really is only a 5-10 minute walk across the street to the ocean-side. Close to restaurants and shopping, it’s probably one of the best spots in Avon. Close to your checkin date, you’ll receive a very helpful and detailed document about the property and the area. It really left no questions at all. Highly recommend!"

"This place was perfect for our little family. We had top floor and it was perfect. Walk to beach was perfect as well. View of ocean was amazing from the deck. The floor below us had other tenants and you could hear them very well talking or tv and their dog and when they walked the whole place shook. It was a little too close for comfort but we weren’t home much so we tried not to let it bother us."
