"The property is beautiful but the rooms are very tiny and there is no real place for large suitcases. We had two twin beds and my mattress kept moving as it had no where to go on one side as it was up against a wall. The housekeeping staff was very pleasant and cleaned the room up nicely. We did not pay for breakfast but large area was open to all as was the fridge and plates and silverwear which was great for leftovers. A microwave in basement is really needed. "It was very pleasant to stay at Hotel Filser and I would be happy to stay there again. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was quiet and had everything I needed. If I may suggest one thing, it would be to improve the lighting in the room,especially in the bathroom which felt a bit dark for my liking. The highlight was the restaurant and the food. I was truly happy with my meals! The breakfast spread was fantastic as well. I would highly recommend staying here!"

"We arrived at Jakob after visiting the castles and was greeted by Magnus whose family owns this inn. It is quaint and well kept and it shows. The room was a nice size and comfortable. "We loved our stay at this hotel!! If you are looking for an Authentic Bavarian German hotel then this is it!! So perfectly located near shops and restaurants and 10 minutes from the castle. It was charming, lots of Character and so convenient to everything. Rooms and bathroom were very clean and staff was very hospitable. Highly recommend!! 10/10"
