"Great experience for our first visit. Room was excellent, large and very clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was most welcome on a hot summer day as was the poolside bar. Another excellent, comfortable bar inside the hotel. Great dining facilities on the mezzanine level. Hotel is conveniently located to most places in the city. Great visit, we will definitely use it again when we attend events in the city."

"Great 2 nights stay. Easy to get to via bus from the airport. Great location in the city, easy to get to everywhere - tram stop right outside. Complementary min bar and wow it was re filled up the second day, we were not expecting that. Roof bar beautiful and also got a complementary drink. Has everything you need, fridge, bathroom items, slippers, bathrobe etc.. Comfortable beds and sound proof. "

"Nice hotel right on the beach and next to many restaurants. Pool is large and gym is adequate. Staff are very polite and friendly and aim to please. Room was large with nice sea view though heats up in the afternoon if it is a hot day as the ocean view room has the afternoon sun. Room has good blockout curtains, comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Furniture in room is modern and doesn’t make the room feel inviting as you would expect in a heritage hotel. "Was, well OK, check in wasn’t overly impressive, I forgot my wallet and there was a few blank looks over how I would pay the pay the deposit and pet cleaning fee. Bed was very firm and AC couldn’t be set under 20(I like it cold), very dusty behind TV, I had to switch it of and on at the plug to get it going. $80 pet fee I think is a little steep but at least there was a dog bed and bowl in the room."

"This was our second stay. Lovely hotel with friendly staff, very clean rooms, super comfortable bed,good amenities and Rundle street just a stones-throw away. The only not-so-great thing is the poor shower screen design - you end up with a very wet floor outside the shower cubicle that the bath mat really can't deal with. Other than that great room and hotel - would stay here again."

"Location isn’t the greatest during Christmas, nothing open but can’t fault the hotel For that, it’s not really central to the main attractions of Adelaide, beds were comfortable and bathroom is nice and clean, not much of a view though. "

"Nice new hotel, but very busy, lift wait times were a bit long, strange having a lobby on the 10th floor, pool is nice, very convenient location walkable to everything Adélaïde has to offer. For the price the hotel is about right. If you’re after super luxury I’d look elsewhere."

"Property has been totally renovated in an Art Nouveau/Deco style with the finishes across the entire hotel of a very high standard. "We had a good stay at the Oval. The room was spacious and clean and breakfast was good which we can see the Oval from the restaurant. However Kelly who checked us in was not friendly. Not sure she should be working in hospitality as we thought we were dealing with a robot who have no facial expression and no warmth in her tone and can't even smile. The rest of the staff were all friendly with a lovely smile on their face which makes up the bad experience we have encountered initially....
