You can use the washing machine which was helpful for we travelled hand luggage only. Apartment was large and had everything you needed, even a friendly cat that would visit the garden! "1) Donna Rosa is a clean and well operated hotel that offers excellent value in a great location. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent! 2) The beach is very nice with clear waters and only five minutes walk from the hotel front door. 3) The hotel is less than fifteen minutes from Savoca, where the Godfather movie was filmed. There are lots of very picturesque vista points in Savoca. 4) The hotel owner and manager, Coralie, went out of her way to answer our questions and provided valuable tips to make our exploration of the area enjoyable."

"Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. The roof top was great - we enjoyed a drink every night before dinner. A perfect stay for our week in Sicily!"

"The Excelsior Palace is outstanding. Beautiful hotel in the heart of Taormina with a huge pool overlooking the Sea. Rooms are updated and very comfortable, many facing the beautiful Mount Etna. Delicious breakfast buffet with accommodating staff. Bar/cafe at the pool is perfect for a cocktail and salad or piadina while floating in the pool. I’ve stayed here three times and cannot wait to return!"
