"The owner was there to welcome us on arrival and show us how everything worked. He provided flowers and welcome gifts which was a lovely unexpected gesture. The apartment was comfortable and the complex has an indoor swimming pool and private lakeside garden with access to the lake for swimming, etc. The complex also has launderette facilities."

When we contacted the owner for check in instructions 1 hour prior to check in, he said he hadn't checked his email and never got our reservation. "I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The location is right in the action for the town, and it's across the street from the lake so I had a really nice view from the room. The restaurant is very good, opting to eat there twice for dinner. The breakfast which was included in the room was very good too. The front desk team spoke perfect English which I appreciated and their directions and suggestions were very much appreciated."

This stop was only a two minute walk from the apartment. We took the train into Munchen on two different days to attend Oktoberfest.
