My only complaint had nothing to do with the resort. The beaches are not clean. It was heartbreaking for me to walk each morning and see the amount of trash mostly plastic on all of the surrounding beaches. Maybe the resort could offer some type of incentive. "First off, the owners and manager are awesome. They are very responsive, and communicate very well. The location was perfect for us, in the middle of Hopkins town. You are able to get the feel for day to day life of the residence. The people were fantastic. The place is nice and quaint, but we loved it. My wife and I both agree, the only thing it was lacking was a couch in the lounge. But honesty, we loved the place and our time in Belize. Nice work!!"

"Blue Moon Cabana is as described in its online advertising. Very well kept with no mechanical issues. Also well provisioned with kitchen equipment and other necessities. It is not resort-like. You are in the center of the town, You will have lots of contact with the local residents. We found them to be very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I were to return to Hopkins."

"I was traveling with my my 17 year old daughter. I did not feel safe and left within 5 minutes of arriving. We travel all over the USA and we've stayed in san pedro and San ignacio. We are not divas by any means. We love to camp so when I say it was bad it was. The door handle did not latch let alone lock. There was a dead bolt that worked. Nine of the windows locked. "It was easy to reserve this house in Hopkins in mid-July and we drove straight to it thanks to thorough directions from the house manager because there is no house number. The house manager lives nearby and she communicated regularly and was very accessible. Although the roof has a great view of the town of Hopkins, there is no roof awning or umbrella to protect one from the sun so it is a sun bathing experience!"

"This is one of the best places I ever stayed at. If you like a rainforest, / jungle setting, then this is by far one of the most peaceful, beautiful areas you could go to. Amazing staff and a overall fantastic experience. I picked it from expedia, and I am very glad I did. The grounds are beyond amazing, with its flora and beautiful pool and cabins. Nothing could have been better and I will be returning soon."

"This is a small hotel just a few blocks from the downtown area and within walking distance of so much stuff. The owners and staff were great and made us feel at home the whole 6 days we were there. They have a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch which was excellent. Everyone(including the security personnel)introduced their selves to us so that we knew who they were. We never felt unsafe while staying here. If you want to get to know the Belize true culture and want a nice cozy place to stay this is your place. "
