"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame...

"This was a very comfortable stopover. Jesus was wonderful at check-in and although he spoke very minimal English, we communicated well. He explained to me about visiting Segovia and gave me a map and although I wasn't planning on visiting it, I went and it was incredible. I am so glad he encouraged me to go.
