"A really great place to stay. This is a tiny house that is equipped with the most important things in a beautifully minimalistic manner without a lot of frills. The washrooms are in the main building, about 15 meters away, which is the only negative point. But if you can overlook it, you shouldn't miss it. It is located on the outskirts of Kiruna, which is why it is very quiet, especially at night. I haven't slept so well in a long time."

"We had the best time at the cabin and Lena was so nice and helpful to us!! She told us so much about the nature and culture up there. Also, the Sauna was really nice and we were warm, even though there was some frost in the night. We also saw aurora! Axxa, the Jämthund, was also so cute and friendly! There are so many things you can do in the region, like hiking the Dundret, visiting Jokkmokk, but also just hiking in the forest by the cabin and enjoying the sun by the cabin! "We very much enjoyed our stay at Aurora River Camp. Tony was an excellent host, picking us up from the bus stop, allowing us time to do groceries, and dropping us at the airport at the end of our stay. He even went out of his way to pickup a local Swedish vinegar that my husband wanted to try but had been unable to find. The property itself was extremely peaceful and serene. We had an igloo right on the river and it was a wonderful experience. Would recommend!"

"This is a good value option for staying in Kiruna, with all the facilities you really need but no luxuries. Though the parking is as easy as can be and the outside seating area is very nice. However there is no staff and therefore no service after 8pm, and if you are on holiday you might want to ask for a room at the back of the building since most guests are contractors and will be leaving in their vans from the car park at the front, from 5am onwards."

"The breakfast buffet was very good, pancakes for the kids, fresh bread with an excellent variety of toppings including smoked and cured salmon. The sauna was very nice (note that it is a co-ed shared sauna). But the indoor pool was not heated (at least not sufficiently for my taste). Much of the area around the hotel was under construction. The library room was closed due to remodel. The room was very nice with a bunk bed for the kids."
