"Great location, perfectly clean and pleasant apartment. It was a little cold on arrival, but just needed to wait for the heating to warm the rooms. I was a bit unsure how the virtual check in would work, so perhaps a few more details might reassure travellers about the process, as it was super easy. "Large, clean easy property on the top floor. No elevator, so a lot of stairs everyday but we knew that when we booked. Views only of rooftops and courtyards but also not something we minded. The most difficult part was that we arrived on a weekend and there isn’t anyone at reception. we also arrived quite late in the day and we weren’t able to access the property to then use their landline to call them and check-in. "Really enjoyed my stay. Even though the room did not have windows, it didn’t affect the stay at all. Considering my room was in the middle of the corridor, it was lovely and quiet. Location is excellent - close to station and to food places. Breakfast was divine. There was a big flask of coffee at reception (free) but not available all day. Overall, I would stay here again."

"An excellent location, close to transport, shopping and dining options. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. An easy walk to the harbour and Gamla Stan (old town). The room was a good size and clean, however, there was no fridge and no tea and coffee making facilities. These had to be purchased in the reception area."

"My stay at the Diplomat was lovely. It is an elegant hotel in a beautiful, historic building. The charm of the water across the street and being able to easily walk to the tram or subway near was super convenient. My room was well appointed with nice linens and a comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower too! I ate at the downstairs restaurant twice, both times exactly what I needed with good food and attentive service. I highly recommend the Diplomat and will be returning in the future. "
