"Hotel Calimala was a really cool hotel, very cool interior design, cool lobby bar, stylish neighborhood. We loved the room, although the bathroom was a little overwhelming with the tile and mirrors--that said it was a very nice bathroom. The location was convenient for walking to some of the main sites in Florence. The staff was very professional. The breakfast was excellent! My only complain is that the rooftop bar they advertise is not in this building. It's in a hotel around the corner. We did not know this until we went to the top floor in the elevator and only found more hotel rooms, the cleaning staff had to tell us that the rooftop was in another building. "

"We stayed in the hell room. The only negative I have about this property is the lighting in the hell room…. It’s AWFUL. The lighting over the small mirror to get ready is so dim. I get that it goes with the vibe of the room but the lights in the bathroom area should get brighter imo. "
