"We experienced a mix bag. The waitstaff was excellent, the food was very good. The condition of the building was rough in areas. The view out one window of our room was of the water--beautiful! Out another window was a roof repair that had been half-completed and all the construction debris left. The exterior of the building was needing TLC as were the gardens. The check in staff was lacking in training as was the spa staff."

"This is a lovely place to stay. It is the perfect size for a couple with a wonderful outdoor area as well. The hosts were quick and helpful and the whole experience was calming and convenient. The ciderhouse restaurant down the road is amazing and it’s a 5 minute walk."
