"We were staying one night for a local competition. Managed to get parked but the car park was very tight. Back door was wedged open so not too sure about security here. The hallway needs cleaned up a lot, it does not give a good impression. Once into the apartment we were pleasently surprised, it was modern and clean and was more than suitable for the overnight stay. The apartment was freezing though and only electric heaters for high ceiling rooms takes ages to heat up. Lovely big old fashioned...

"The views were great. The cottage was clean and set-up well. Intro booklet received in advance was very helpful. Lots of good walks in the area. Lisa and David were quick to respond when we had a question. Really enjoyed the cottage, sitting in the sun room reading a book was special. "

Lovely stay at the Ardoe

"My mum and I had a lovely stay at Ardoe! Our room was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the drawing room; the bartender was brilliant. Our meal was also fantastic, highly recommend treating yourself in their restaurant although they do also have bar meals. The only downside is that the swimming pool hosts so many lessons and also seems to attract a lot of local families, so we didn't have many opportunities to use the pool. We had to get up really early to use it before lessons started, but facilities are nice and the sauna is excellent. I recommend checking the schedule on arrival so you can plan around it."
