"There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."

Lacking the basic welcome items ie said there would be milk coffee and tea etc. No milk no coffee just tea. "I reserved a room online for my daughter who was visiting for a day from Galway and then heading back to Dublin next morning. Since she would be arriving into Limerick in the late evening, my main concerns were walkability from the main train station and safety. But any fears were put to rest by excellent communication from The Bedford's staff, before her arrival. They confirmed what time she would be arriving and provided detailed instructions om how to get to the hotel and how to enter the building and access her room. They even called my daughter twice to confirm she had received the instructions. My daughter loved her stay at the hotel, her room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and a perfect start to her exploration of Limerick before her return back to Dublin in the evening. A heartfelt thank you to Shannon and Cathie for their hospitality and for taking care of my daughter while she was there."
