I like that because it gives you more freedom in your food choices, and saves you money. It is new, very clean, and convenient! I loved the atmosphere. "This is the most interesting and unique stay my family has had. What atmosphere! We were welcomed with cake and tea and Christa was a wonderful host. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Top destination for a completely authentic old farmhouse experience with lots of charm in a very quiet German village."

This is a really untouristy area but well worth exploring for fabulous cycle tracks, walking and lake swimming - so beautiful and on the doorstep. "Very comfy hotel with plenty of on-site parking. The beds at this hotel were the most comfortable of our three week trip, they have a delightful dense springiness and are well made with comfortable linens and pillows. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and we loved how sturdy and safe the bunk beds felt. The location was great for us, we visited some of the local castles and did some hiking, as well as went into town for simple dinner. We arrived after hours, the staff was super fast and helpful to get us in. "

Return Customers. Different experiences every time

"We stayed in two parts of the Meteora. For the first part of our stay, we were in Nebenhaus which was a short walk from the main hotel. Quiet. Comfortable. Near a shortcut to the main street and buses. Convenient and short walk to restaurants and a cafe. Lots of parking. Loved it there and will request it next time. Breakfast in main hotel is always good. Lots of variety. Great coffee. Did not eat at the Greek restaurant but the menu looked delicious. Second part of our stay was in main hotel. Suggest you avoid Room 10 if you stand over 5’3” Head banging warning and a shower with a mind of its own and tiny. Lots of stairs and no elevator. Friendly staff and helpful when the shower decided to call it a day. Moved us to a great room."
