"We spent a wonderfully relaxing week with our extended family ages 7 months to 63 at Michael & Dimitria's beautiful and expansive home. The house was filled with comfortable spaces to lounge and congregate for meals, drinks and fun times in the pool. "My family recently stayed 2 nights at this location. Our only complaint was we only had 2 nights. The house is a charming seaside house with an elevated position so the view was amazing. The outside area was well thought out with a great patio directly outside, well furnished area around the pool. The pool was a nice treat for my children and I to relax while enjoying the warm day. "As there was an unforeseen problem with the apartment, the host promptly found us another in the block. The location was beautiful, on the water's edge surrounded by mountains. A quiet area of the town but plently of restaurants and shops, within an easy walk. "

The accommodation is stylish, immaculate and exactly as described. The garden is a haven of quiet shade, and Terry is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive as a host. We had a wonderful holiday. The area is not very touristic so be prepared for a quiet visit. I'm sure we'll be back if we get the chance!"

"Nice location by the beach. You need to cross road but it's not very busy so easy to do. Couple dining options nearby, anything else you need to go further. Lots of roadwork so was a bit challenging to get there which is why it's a quiet town. Closer to thermal springs and a busy little town nearby. Recommend doing the springs. Had a small kitchen suite so could make meals but the restaurants were reasonable and easier. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was great and worth the money. Would stay...

Wonderful Family Holiday

"We spent a wonderfully relaxing week with our extended family ages 7 months to 63 at Michael & Dimitria's beautiful and expansive home. The house was filled with comfortable spaces to lounge and congregate for meals, drinks and fun times in the pool. We enjoyed our short morning strolls to the local bakery, dinners at the local taverna accompanied by live bazouki music and short drives to the nearby beaches. We had a fun day on a sailboat arranged by Michael and also spent a day seeing the sights in Meteora. In between all this activity we lounged around and in the refreshing pool. The house was very clean and orderly. We especially enjoyed cooking for our crowd in the large well equipped kitchen. Michael & Dimitria were excellent hosts. If you're looking for a quiet Greek village without tourists but with a warm and friendly vibe, we recommend lovely Achinos."

"Terry is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful! The location, right on the water, is incredible, you don't need to go anywhere! The accommodation is stylish, immaculate and exactly as described. The garden is a haven of quiet shade, and Terry is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive as a host. We had a wonderful holiday. The area is not very touristic so be prepared for a quiet visit. I'm sure we'll be back if we get the chance!"

Magical view - yes and great seaside town

"My family recently stayed 2 nights at this location. Our only complaint was we only had 2 nights. The house is a charming seaside house with an elevated position so the view was amazing. The outside area was well thought out with a great patio directly outside, well furnished area around the pool. The pool was a nice treat for my children and I to relax while enjoying the warm day. Further outside is more extended areas for dining and viewing the sea or sunset. The sunset was amazing both evenings. The house has a nice kitchen, and sitting areas with 2 bedrooms on the first floor along with a full bath. The rooms have nice closets if you had longer stays and wanted to use for your luggage. The is a small stair case (with no rail if you have small kids be aware) and 2 rooms upstairs along with a bath) the ceilings and some lights are low, my son who is over 6 foot hit his head a few times) The AC worked well, was hot in Kamena Vourla while we visited. The host Dionosis and his mother are very nice and welcoming. The provided many local recommendations and took great care of us during the visit. Kamena Vourla is a charming small seaside town, very nice people, a few nice shops and great restaurants and cafes all along the main street with beaches all around. We highly recommend a visit."
