"The property was much smaller than expected and we were disappointed by the quality of furnishings and equipment some of which were old (floor coverings and kitchen utensils) and unacceptable in our view. We felt the photographs had been staged and larger groups would have struggled to have had a comfortable experience. The shower was difficult to use and was inaccessible for those who might have any physical issues and particularly so if pregnant or with balance problems. "

The house has three good reception rooms and 7 bedrooms, 5 of which are ensuite which are ideal for large groups as we were 13. 3 of the lower ground floor bedrooms were only accessible from the outside down steep steps, which is a drawback in poor weather and external lighting that worked would be helpful.
