Finest Retreats | Loxley House

8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (10)
"The house is in a good location in the heart of Hawes. The house has three good reception rooms and 7 bedrooms, 5 of which are ensuite which are ideal for large groups as we were 13. 3 of the lower ground floor bedrooms were only accessible from the outside down steep steps, which is a drawback in poor weather and external lighting that worked would be helpful. Chapel Cottage - with Log Burner

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (2)
"Cozy 🙂 We had an amazing stay at Chapel Cottage. The Cottage is gorgeous, attention to detail is lovely. Very nicely decorated and perfect for 2 couples or a small family. The Beds are huge and so comfortable.. There are wardrobes in both rooms and a dressing table in the top room, all beautiful wood furniture.. I would suggest anyone with any mobility problems stay on the 2nd Floor as the steps up to Bedroom on 3rd Floor are a little Steep.. The shower is awesome and the kitchen is small...

1 Rose Cottage - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 5

8.0 out of 10, Very good, (3)
"The property was much smaller than expected and we were disappointed by the quality of furnishings and equipment some of which were old (floor coverings and kitchen utensils) and unacceptable in our view. We felt the photographs had been staged and larger groups would have struggled to have had a comfortable experience. The shower was difficult to use and was inaccessible for those who might have any physical issues and particularly so if pregnant or with balance problems. "
