"Our stay at Margaret’s was amazing. The place is nearby to public transportation and you can get to Frankfurt very easily. There is also grocery right next to the train station. Margaret was a fantastic host and was so helpful and kind with everything. The place is very clean and quiet and is quite large, and the terrace is gorgeous and very spacious. I would absolutely stay here again if I am in Frankfurt for a wonderful and relaxing experience. "

"We had a group of 8 and were very comfortable staying in the top apartment. The building is historic and beautiful and the rooms are large with high ceilings. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were updated, were outfitted with essentials, and everything was in good working order. It is a short train ride to the center of Frankfurt. "Sollte ich dem/r Vermieter:in Unrecht tun, tut es mir sehr leid, aber … was hat es mit diesen offenen Türen auf sich? Egal wie oft ich die Haustüre geschlossen habe, kurz darauf war sie wieder offen. Ja, das gemietete Zimmer war abschließbar, wurde auch so genutzt, aber Vorort hin oder her, es war schon ein merkwürdiges Gefühl wenn die Wohnung 24/07 zugänglich ist und dich nur die Zimmertür von der Außenwelt trennt… und das im Erdgeschoss. Das war… höchst irritierend."

Der einzige negative Punkt war für uns, dass es im Zimmer leicht nach Zigarettenqualm gerochen hat und versucht wurde, das mit verschiedenen Aromastäbchen zu kaschieren. Die Mischung war leider nichts für uns, deshalb nur drei Sterne."

Also and therefore the biggest dissatisfaction was a shared bathroom with 3 other renters, which was not specified in the listing. Purposely MISREPRESENTED in my opinion in the listing. "Ein tolles Apartment im schönen Gelnhausen. Die Lage direkt an einer Einkaufsstraße merkt man nicht mehr, sobald man durch die erste der drei Türen bis zum Loft hindurch ist. Top eingerichtet, gut aufgeteilt und perfekt gelegen. Einzig schwierig war bei uns der Schlüsselsafe, der sich nicht öffnen lies. Aber eine schnelle Lösung war parat – alles super also. Und Tipp von uns: Vorher beim Forellenhof "Gründautal Forellen" vorbeifahren ..."
