We had a wonderful stay at the E&O hotel, the surroundings were lovely and it had such an old school luxury charm. All dining areas were lovely and the club lounge for cocktail hour added something extra special. This hotel feels like a throwback to the British Colonial days, in a good way. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent the ambiance was old world luxury. Highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel with real character.

Its lovely but note: - very little information is given at check in about bars/facilities/features of the hotel - the victory suites do not allow access to the heritage pool, nor access to the club suite, none of which was intimated anywhere when booking nor on the hotel's own website/literature. We asked to upgrade when we found this and got a flat refusal - the victory pool while lovely has steps into it the last one being about 18 2 feet abovethe pool floor. If you are elderly or got good on your feet, you will struggle - some areas could do with TLC, e.g the wondows in Planters Bar needed a wash and the outside tables were grubby

Lovely hotel

Beautiful and comfortable hotel, with good service and good location on the waterfront. Rooms are large. We will definitely stay there again. Enjoyed the pools and the work out room.
