"The first night we stayed here, we got locked out of the house because the batteries for the automatic lock had died. We called the maintenance guy, but he was not able to get in as there was not a spare key where the owner said it was. The owner stopped answering his phone and essentially left us stranded. We ended up having to crawl through a window to get in. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower is no more than a trickle."

"The Distiller House was like taking a step back into the past. The house was unique and authentic yet update to meet the needs of today. Next time we will be sure to remember to bring our own toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc). We loved having a beautiful area to walk around and explore some of the beautiful history of the area. "

"The photos do not give this space justice or maybe I didn't pay hard enough attention to the exposed antique brick and refinished (what appears to be the original) hardwood floors. Plenty of amenities from cooking, eating utensils, coffee options, etc. Excellent location and easy access to downtown with great restaurant options. Communication was great! Easy to check in and out! Next trip we plan, will be staying again! A must stay place! "

"The pictures posted of the home gave the perception of an older home with charm. Before we arrived we arrived I had to contact the host for check-in instructions. I sent a message through the app and did not get a response. We tried not to panic but we were less than an 2 hours away and very tired from driving. After 30 minutes I called and left a voicemail. "My girls loved this cute apartment. Very well stocked with extras, and it does have a queen blow up bed even thoigh that isnt listed. Lots of blankets and toiletries, and is 1 block from historic downtown which is nice and walkable. Id definitely stay again!"
