"The front desk are really helpful. I had problems with communications on my car bookings and Takayama tickets. They were so patient in helping me. If you are a foreign guest , this hotel is great. The rooms are spacious. The soft jazz music in the lounge is lovely. It’s location is great. Lots of good eateries nearby. Check out Cafe Basque for a lovely small restaurant with reasonable good Spanish food with good vibes. Prices are decent. "

"The hotel is comfortable, clean and close the station. 10 minute walk to the town. Our room was spacious and had a safe, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer and a washing machine. There was a separate toilet, and wet room. There is a 7 11 across the road. The hotel has a public onsen that good. Good value for money"

"Even though there was a sign to ring the bell for help with luggage to the 2nd floor, no one came to help after ringing the bell several times so we had to carry our luggages up ourselves. Other than that, everything else was excellent. "

"Pros: Close to the city center. Many restaurants nearby. Easy check-in and out. Washer and dryer worked well. Laundry soap was provided. Great toilet and shower. Large apartment. "To clarify this is NOT a rating for Rainbow Takayama House. We booked Rainbow Takayama and were shifted to another property a few days before we arrived. Reason given was that Rainbow Takayama House was not in a state to be rented due to dirt and odor. The house we were put in instead was not particularly nice, fairly old, and generally not in a great state, so I can only imagine what our originally booked place was like. "

"Convenient location near the stations and restaurants/shops. The reason I chose this hotel was due to it having private onsens available. As someone with tattoos, I appreciated being able to partake! We tried two of the three private options and they were both fantastic. So relaxing after lots of walking and traveling. The hotel was nice, staff was very helpful and kind. I would stay here again!"

"If you see this review. Just book it if is within your budget. They take care of everything once you stepped into Gero station. Jus hopped into any Taxi waiting at the station and your retreat begins. We stepped into the inn and didnt think of going any where until our check out time. "

"Loved this hotel! Room was bigger than expected (Deluxe Hollywood Room) and was very clean. Check-in/out was easy with friendly and professional staff available to assist. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Main attractions were within walking distance (10-20 mins walk). Public transportation nearby (10 mins walk). Wish we stayed longer than one night for greater use of the facilities. Would definitely stay here again. "
