ABOUT THE SPACE
Our Gharb holiday villa is the perfect base for a tranquil weekend break or a relaxing family holiday. Spend your days enjoying the spectacular 180° landscape views from the 3 terraces, soaking up the Mediterranean sun in the private saltwater pool and dining al-fresco in the long summer evenings. Situated in a peaceful street just minutes away from the renowned Ta' Pinu national shrine and a short walk from the quaint restaurants & bars of Gharb village square, you'll be in the heart of a favourite getaway spot for locals!

From the moment you step inside our spacious holiday home, it welcomes you with a bright open plan living and dining area, premium facilities throughout and a fully equipped kitchen giving that real "home away from home" feeling!

Set over 3-storeys, the villa is perfectly sized and equipped to accommodate a group of friends or a family of 10 persons in complete comfort for any length of stay. There are three bedrooms with a total of 8 beds over 2-triple bedrooms and 1-quadruple bedroom (full bed layouts can be seen in the "Where you'll sleep section"). You will find a full en-suite bathroom connected with every bedroom and a large bathroom with walk-in shower located on the ground floor. Our space can comfortably sleep 10-adults and a folding baby cot/crib can be provided upon request. All bedrooms and the living areas come equipped with modern dual air-conditioning (cool or heat), so you can be sure of a good night's sleep in any weather.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals including a full oven & gas stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, kettle, pots & pans, dishes, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and all the essential cooking utensils. Guests can relax and dine in the bright living/dining area as well as enjoy dining outdoors on the terrace which comes equipped with a charcoal BBQ area, BBQ cooking utensils and full lighting. A washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board are also available.

The ground floor living area has stunning Ta' Pinu shrine and country views through the large sliding doors and features a 43" HD TV with a SMART Android box which streams Netflix (account provided)/Amazon Prime Video (account provided)/Youtube/Chromecast/Local TV and a super comfortable pair of sofas. Fast WiFi (115mbps) is available in all areas of the house thanks to the MESH system. You may also connect laptops or other devices to the TV via HDMI cable. In addition there is a secondary living area located on the 2nd floor of the villa which features a 43" HD TV with SMART Android box, a sofa and a small kitchenette area equipped with a sink & mini-fridge.

The main terrace features a private saltwater swimming pool (one of only a few on the island) which has many health benefits versus a traditional heavily chlorinated pool. The pool is maintained and treated all year round however do keep in mind that like all outdoor pools in Gozo, it is not heated so it will not be warm during the winter months. The rooftop terrace features a powerful hot tub which has space for 4 adults which enjoys amazing views over the Gozo countryside and on a clear night the starry sky! The hot tub is available all year round and can be heated during the colder months.

In the outdoor areas, guests will have PRIVATE use of all the following features and equipment:

- Hot tub/Jacuzzi with capacity for 4 adults (heating available in winter).

Our villa is fully licensed and accredited by the Malta Tourism Authority under HPI/G/0107.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have completely private use of this 3-bedroom villa and all of its outdoor areas/facilities. You will NOT share any parts of the house or outdoor spaces with anyone outside your group. The property is accessed from a private street entrance and comprises 3 floors.

LOCATION
Our holiday villa enjoys a very peaceful location at the edge of Gharb village overlooking the spectacular Ta' Pinu shrine and the unspoiled Gozoitan countryside. Situated at the end of a rural street in the picturesque Gozo village of Gharb, steeped in history and set among traditional houses and real locals. It's just a 5-minute walk to Ta' Pinu shrine and a 6-7 minute walk to the quaint village square where you can find some authentic restaurants, a local bar and a small convenience shop. All the essential amenities such as a supermarket, a pharmacy, ATM and public transport can be found within a few minute's drive around the village. A small mini-market can be found within a 7-minute walk from the house. There is a bus stop within a 5-minute walk from the house that can take you to the ferry terminal or the "capital" of the island, Victora. Enjoy a unique mix of sunny Mediterranean tranquillity and bustling village life.

Public transport in Gozo is an economical and efficient way of getting around, almost all areas of the island are accessible by bus. The nearest bus stop from the house is called "Pinu" which is served hourly by the 308 bus to/from the capital Victoria. You can also catch the big red "Hop On - Hop Off" tour buses from the dedicated stop outside Ta' Pinu Shrine which is 5 minutes walk from the house. There is 1 private covered parking space at the property and there is also free parking available on the street outside. Please note the private parking space is not suitable for large vehicles due to the width of the entrance.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Air-conditioners for cooling/heating are operated by way of a coin payment meter. An allowance of credit for this meter is included with your stay but further usage requires the deposit of 1EUR or 2EUR coins in the meter. This system is only designed to reduce energy wastage and help protect the environment by encouraging guests to use the A/C responsibly.
