"We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and clean the room and furnishings were. A comfortable king sized bed, spacious room, a good sized desk, large bathroom, and extra essentials (fridge/freezer, shampoo, iron and ironing board, and plenty of outlets) adorned the room. The staff at the front desk was kind and even called us right away when they found that we had accidentally left something behind. All of this at a very low rate. I would definitely recommend this motel!"

Previously, the property was not tin the best shape. the new owners have done work to get it feeling clean, feeling safe and comfortable. My room was clean, the heat worked and the bed was comfortable. The only down fall was the tile floor in the bathroom in the winter..brrr that was cold on my feet! "

"The staff here are amazing. They are friendly, helpful and thoughtful. A buddy and I were outside smoking cigars by the water when a person, possibly an owner, came across the parking lot to speak with us. We assumed that we were going to be asked to go back inside as it was kind of late. To our surprise, he asked us if we would like some wood for the fire pit. He proceeded to get wood and started a fire for us so we could continue to enjoy the evening and our cigars. Thank you to the gentleman!"

"The hotel is lovely—very unique and nicely furnished. My only complaint is the pet fees—we were told that we needed to pay $25/day/pet. That’s totally reasonable. When we checked in however, we were told there was an additional $75/per dog non-refundable deposit, that meant we paid $200just for our dogs!! That’s almost the cost of the room. Note to pet owners be very specific when asking about pet fees!!"

"We had a room with a king size bed. It was very comfortable and clean. Great shower! Everything seemed up to date and clean. Easy on and off the turnpike. Could hear the traffic but off in the distance. It wasn’t overly noticeable to us. We slept great and the breakfast was wonderful and substantial. There were meat choices, scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, bagels and cereal, with juices and coffee for beverages. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

"I’ve been taking myself since August for an overnight stay each month here at sawmill Creek. I like how it’s quiet, not overcrowded very spacious. I’m able to use the pool and the hot tub without many people there the showers also nice good pressure very modern and updated.
