"Although we were aware that the hotel was closing we still expected 4 star accommodation as that is what we paid for. The pool and terrace area were in a very bad state of disrepair and the pool area unusable. We asked for an upgrade to a sea view as there road works at the front of the building and therefore noisy but were told ( 6 hrs after asking and having to ask again)that no rooms were available although the hotel was clearly far from busy. "Fun idea and the decor was lovely. It’s basically a tiny cruise ship. The noise from the surrounding bars did keep me up late into the night. Our suite was not well suited for families even though there was a full sofa couch to have them sleep. The only bathroom was in the bedroom and had a lot of glass so everyone had to evacuate the room when someone was showering. Getting ready in the morning took longer than we’d have liked. "

"Great views and incredibly clean. Very helpful. Dining at dinner was good but very slow in bar area. First night better than the second. The only improvement to suggest would be manager in dining room. I had to ask for everything and not overly friendly in the bar area. Decided to go elsewhere our third night. Other than that everything was very good. "
