"The owner Jeanne-Claire is absolutely lovely and wants everything to be as easy, comfortable and relaxing as possible for her guests. She was so helpful and responsive every time we needed anything and it was a always a pleasure to chat and find out about the chateau and it’s history and the area. "Peace and quiet assured in this cottage, clean and well equipped. Perfectly situated to visit Beauval Zoo. Keepers of the keys, at local vineyard, extemely helpful and have good wine on sale. Check with owner on electricity surcharge before booking."

Many activities are within an hour drive. The property is very quite and secluded, ideal for a get away. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back."

"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Served with courtesy and plentiful. Also a nice daily variation. I would certainly reccomend this place if you are looking for something simple yet good value for money."

"This was an ideal location for a stop over on the way to Paris from Vichy. The hotel was a little dated and parking was free. It was perfect for a 1 night stay but quite noisy from the motorway. Staff were very friendly and my son loved the sports car theme. "
