Abba Playa Gijon Hotel is in a great location a very short distance from the main Gijon beach, with fabulous views from the roof terrace of the beach sea, promenade and old town. Great restaurants and shopping very close by. And free parking in the street outside the Hotel. The swimming pool was a real treat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is different, but very cool. The staff was mostly friendly and the vibe was good. The biggest complaint was that the shower was very dirty with mold. A little far from downtown but still walkable.

nice place to stay.a little noisy for traffic but we requested for room change and they did it without any problem.room need same update like no usb outlets for cellphone or hair conditioner.breakfast was pretty good and really nice staff.

Revolving entry door that is broken and a safety hazard...(main entry btw) Poor service at restaurant - may take your menu but not your order Worn, dingy, and dirty carpet in halls & rooms Small rooms Mildew/mold in bathroom A/C thermostat with knob that will not indicate or adjust temp Thumping club music at midnight on Sunday that can be heard as you lay in bed trying to sleep Hotel manager that will not reach out to you to discuss issues
