"The owners Mitch and Mary were great! The property was beautiful, and it was centrally located making it easy to get to egg harbor, fish creek, and Baileys harbor. We enjoyed the collection of VHS tapes, and even watched a movie one evening. Great property for a weekend away with your spouse!"

"My purpose in visting Land's End cabin was to have several days of quiet in a comfortable, cozy cabin in the woods - with a beautirful fireplace. I felt right at home as soon as I entered. I slept well at the cabin, and felt safe and secure. If I had any complaint at all, it is that the fireplace had a lot of burnt wood and a lot of ash in it from the former resident. I hoped to start a fire as soon as I pulled in at dusk, but had to find the bin in the back yard to put the ashes and burnt logs...

"This a cute property on beautiful Green Bay. We used this as a halfway point to stay a few nights coming back from Mackinac. Very nice layout of the house and all the niceties you need to do laundry, make meals, and catch a couple of movies. A great beach to walk or swim (little to late in the season for that) with wonderful sunrises."

"The cozy house was a perfect spot for our girls’ weekend. We enjoyed the view of the Cana Island Lighthouse and the sounds of the calming waves. The open concept main living space was perfect for cooking meals (and the heated floors in the kitchen were an extra bonus). The beds were comfy and having two bathrooms was very convenient. "We were really happy with the experience. Pictures and text were entirely representative of the experience. We had to call the property manager due to a malfunctioning device that was likely the result of misuse by previous guests, and he called back within a few hours -- on the Sunday right after Thanksgiving. A truly excellent experience. Highly recommend!"

Close to Cherry Drop

"The Birchwood Lodge was a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. We were there for New Years Eve and I wanted a hotel close to where the cherry was going to drop. The Birchwood Lodge was walking distance to the Cherry Drop on December 31. As I checked out, I notified the desk agent that they should check the switches and light bulbs. I think some lights were burned out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Very comfortable. "

"Stayed for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived a couple of hours before check inn and the girl at the front desk told us our room wasn’t ready but took my number and called shortly after that saying we could check inn early. Our room was very clean, beds were comfy and the bathroom was very spacious. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area."

"Great place to stay, owners are very accommodating. Breakfast had everything you would need. Nice clean pool and large hot whirlpool. Has a number of outdoor fire pits for summer months and a grill. Local drinks and food in fridges for purchase in the lobby. Would definitely stay again! "

"Nice convenient location. Overall the place was nice, but very dated decor overall and in our room. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on and the pillows were just as hard. It was very quiet, however our stay was a few days before Christmas, so I’m sure there weren’t many travelers. Would love to go back and stay there, as it was located central to shopping and dining, but because the bed was so horrible to sleep on, we will look elsewhere next time."

"For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. We have stayed in some exquisite places and some very undesirable places. Not a large chain. The management was very discriptive of their processes and proceedures that may vary from normal lodging. I believe in clear expectations, so this was incredibly helpful. "
