"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Great hotel with breakfast included it felt like you was staying in a castle just by the main exit. When you got out of the courtyard you was in city center. Had a wonderful time exploring the sites as all were within walking distance"

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is very convenient to the Christmas market and in a central location to get around the major sites. The room was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and walk in shower. There is a taxi stand not even 5 minutes away although we walked most everywhere. The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming which made our stay memorable. In particular, Sylvia at the reception desk went above and beyond to help us with last minute dinner reservations at the...

"The room was clean but for 3 people it was ultra small and a tight squeeze. The area around seemed more industrial and we did not feel safe staying out late. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi as we had an early train to catch"
