Everyone from the owner, to the front desk, the restaurant staff, housekeeping and gardening - were remarkably wonderful. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful with several appealing options! The bar is a fantastic throw back in time, well stocked and wonderful to share a drink in! The grounds are impeccable, manicured yet very homey. The rooms and buildings are rustic and so welcoming. There is so much history and the hotel has been preserved beautifully. It’s clear that the owner and staff take great pride and care deeply about their place and their guest’s experience. "The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis.
