First day, I cleaned for 4 hours SUPER when you pay for the service. Being allergic to dust in this house was complicated. Pool maintenance, nobody came, no net available... "We had a great stay - Jean-Brice was very helpful and accomodating - including setting up some outdoor tables and camp beds for kids. It is a big property with heaps of rustic charm. We didn’t realise there were additional outdoor areas (including a firepit and outdoor sitting room) all of which were fantastic with lots of kids running round. Great location with beautiful views, sunsets and local attractions."

Enjoyable friends and family holiday

"We were a group of two families (3 couples and a single) with 2 dogs. Property has lots of space for all to be together or in own areas. Good kitchen facilities (important to us) and lovely peaceful location with good walks on doorstop for our energetic dogs. Amal and Rashid prepared a wonderful celebration feast to help us celebrate our daughter's engagement and they worked with us brilliantly on details (menu preferences, gateau for happy couple etc) They are aware of need to carry out a few fixes on fencing, gates and doors, which do not close as they should and we know they are having works done at end of season. Our very inquisitive young dog did get out on a few occasions, but fortunately location is not near busy road. Most family dogs would be fine. Rashid lives quite close and responded very promptly to all requests. We had a great holiday and would recommend Villa Tamaris to families and small groups."

"It was a lovely hotel and not too far to walk to main attractions and restaurants. Pool was very nice and lovely to get a short swim in and relax after long car journey . Bit of a walk up from restaurant in evening unfortunately lift stopped at 8pm. Only thing check in is from 4 and could have done with it being bit earlier even though could park there ."

Fantastic property for kids and local activities/villages

"This property was amazing for our children, offering plenty of entertainment, including pétanque, pinball machine, trampoline, swings, playhouse, basketball, swimming pool and table tennis. The children were in their element. The view was incredible and the location perfect for days out and popping to the boulangerie in Meyssac, which was lovely. Collonges la Rouge was such a gorgeous village and only 10minutes away. The only reason we have marked this down is due to the black mould encountered in one of the bedrooms. This was a problem for us with several family members suffering with respiratory concerns. We did let Jerome and Samuel know and they dealt with it promptly. The house was otherwise very clean. Another point of note is that there are only 2 toilets despite the 3 bathrooms. One toilet upstairs separate to the shower rooms and the other under the stairs downstairs. In our view another one is needed when you are catering to large groups as taller members (6’5”) of our group couldn’t use the one downstairs. "
