"Air conditioning not on until summer. The cool evenings would have made it ok except the high speed train is directly behind the hotel and you can’t open the massive doors to the balcony unless you want to listen the rail barreling by without a pattern so could not even anticipate the weird sound like the war of the worlds train scene. The food and grounds were very nice."

"I couldn’t check in for over an hour. They left me stranded. Door closed and no one at the desk. There was another gentleman also trying to check in. He told me he was there for business from Milano, he got annoyed, booked somewhere else and left. The lady finally showed up and blamed it on Expedia. The hotel is gorgeous, super comfortable and very clean.The location is perfect. Steps away from the piazza. I would book here again, next time I would call and make sure they’re at the desk before...
