"Our stay here was fantastic. It is in a remote area but a good base to explore from. The drive and the views all around are spectacular. Its a lovely area of Germany. The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel very welcome. Thank you David for some great suggestions of places to visit. The room was pleasant and very spacious. There is an amazing spa a short walk from the hotel which a real treat at the end of a day exploring. "

"Good restaurants, especially breakfast and the Biergarten. Good for walks and cycling and touring with car. Berncastel Kues 5mins, bit of a disappointment except fabulous Zylinderhaus museum. Air conditioning a bit poor, but not a problem as it was a cool week in July!"

"Had a great stay at the Sporthotel. The facilities are excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The weather wasn’t great, but there was so much to do indoors that nobody was bored - tennis, table tennis, billiard, swimming

, saunas, and a good gym! When the weather was good, we visited the volcanic lakes in the area - the autumn colours of the trees around were amazing in the sunshine. We loved the breakfast buffet which had a great variety of food on offer, and we also enjoyed the one...
